Davina is a seasoned journalist with a career spanning over two decades.
The former Arts and Entertainment Editor for British publication, The Voice newspaper, Davina spent 14 years with the company, delivering cultural coverage and racking up interviews with global names including Gabrielle Union, Idris Elba, Kelly Rowland and the late literary greats, Maya Angelou and Benjamin Zephaniah.
From going for a run with Mr Motivator; hanging out in the studio with So Solid Crew; having a sing-along session with Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell; and making cocktails with D12, Davina has enjoyed an array of unforgettable experiences in her journalism career!
A well-rounded media professional, Davina has also written for publications including BuzzFeed, Huffington Post, The Gleaner, Toronto Star and Pride Magazine, as well as contributing arts/ topical affairs segments for radio stations including BBC London, BBC Five Live, LBC and Choice FM.
Additionally, 2026 saw her undertaking the role of Deputy Editor for the inaugural print edition of Black Current News magazine.
